Wenn das Bauteil ausgebaut ist, kann man, wie unten abgebildet, mit einem stumpfen Gegenstand (z. B. einem 3-mm-Innensechskantschl\u00fcssel) von unten in den Druckspeicher fahren. St\u00f6\u00dft man dort nach ca. 20 mm auf einen deutlichen Widerstand, ist das die Membran. Diese wird vom Stickstoffdruck nach unten gedr\u00fcckt. Das bedeutet, dass der Speicher noch Restdruck hat. Wie hoch dieser Druck ist, kann man so allerdings nicht ermitteln. Kann man mit dem Werkzeug jedoch ganz in die Speicherkugel hineinfahren, ist das eher ung\u00fcnstig.
